Braatz Building served as a subcontractor for this project. We managed the framing and finishing the restaurant’s clerestory and bathroom addition as well as building the outdoor deck and trellis, planter boxes and acoustic fencing.
Bowls Restaurant
Complete restaurant build including kitchen, bathrooms, office and dining space. Braatz Building furnished and installed subway tile, flooring, countertops, and cabinetry while contracting with local businesses for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work.
Bumstead Provisions
Braatz Building was the general contractor for Bumstead Provisions (now known as Hot Head Fried Chicken) prior to the company’s re-branding. This establishment opened as one side grocery/deli and one side restaurant/bar. Braatz Building highlights include banquette seating, refurnished shelving, the design and build of a white oak bar with stamped metal panels and custom table tops using reused materials from the same site location.
Goodkind
Voted Milwaukee’s Best New Restaurant, Braatz Building worked closely with the owners to bring their vision to life. Highlights include custom table tops, booths, and window trim in addition to exterior barn wood siding and brick work.
Indulgence Chocolatiers Shorewood
Braatz Building was responsible for furnishing and installing custom ice cream countertop and cabinetry at this new chocolatier. The work was carefully choreographed to align during their off-hours to meet the needs of the business owners and minimize disruption of normal business hours.
Irie Zulu
Voted Milwaukee’s Best New Restaurant, Braatz Building was the general contractor this project and transformed the space from an existing bridal shop into a restaurant/bar and retail space. Custom made woodwork included tabletops, bench seating, barn wood trim, a full commercial kitchen and basement walk-in cooler installations. We also designed and built an African/Jamaican inspired bar top and an overhang to create a unique atmosphere.
North Avenue Grill
This well-known and established business contracted with Braatz Building after acquiring a nearby commercial space to fulfill their need for more seating. Two separate spaces became one, with the skill of the Braatz Building team. The expanded restaurant includes new bathrooms, custom table tops and booths, and a revitalized kitchen with an open concept, bringing more seating and revenue for the business.. Remodeling of the existing space was completed on an aggressive four-week schedule.
Palomino Bar
Braatz Building was responsible for the business’s revamp of their existing bathrooms as well as the furnishing and installing of bar soffit and lighting.
Ray’s Growler Gallery
Braatz Building completed the new build of a functional bar, concrete countertops, custom shelving and brick work to help bring to life the owner’s vision of a successful growler gallery and venue. It’s now an artful display of the area’s best craft beers.
